There are many variables in selecting containment products, here are just a few to consider to arrive at the best containment berm for your application.

Collapsible Wall Berm

Where will the berm be used?

  • On Soil: May require ground pads to protect the berm fabric against underside punctures.
  • On concrete: Depending on surface, may consider ground mat and track mats.
  • On Asphalt: Asphalt in hot temperatures may soften, ground mats and track mat may be needed.
  • Other

How Long will you require this berm in this application?

  • Length of time you will want to use or re-use this berm may indicate a specific best available model.
  • One time use or long term use for this and other applications.

Will you require a Ground Pad?

Ground Tarps go underneath the Berm and are typically 1 to 4 feet larger than the Berm itself. It is made from a 18.5 oz/sq. yd. polyester blended PVC. By placing the Ground Tarp down before you deploy your Containment Berm, you can prevent punctures, tears and rips from occurring from rocks or debris that might be underneath the Berm’s floor.

Will you require a Track Belt

Track Belts are 30” wide sections of material that lie inside of the Containment Berm and act as a “buffer” between a vehicle’s tires and the Berm. Track Belts come in pairs and will typically run the length of the Berm’s usable space. Some customers prefer to get a few extra feet on each end so they can also cover the endwalls. The polyester blended PVC layer provides low stretch and good tear resistance. The heavy-duty PVC compound offers excellent oil/hydrocarbon resistance as well as good wear characteristics.

Note: When driving into or out of  a drive in, drive out berm, keep wheels straight, the weight on the front wheels when turned can damage the berm materials.

The Berms are the highest quality available and we stand behind them. But when you’re driving a truck that weighs tens of thousands of pounds in and out on a daily basis, even the toughest material can be put to the test.

That’s where ground tarps and track belts come in. These relatively inexpensive options can be purchased for any size Berm and will help to insure that your Containment Berm is protected and lasts a long time.
