Challenge: A regional specialty waste hauler was bidding on a large contract to collect, dewater and dispose of waste sludges in accordance with county and state regulations.

Waste hauler management calculated that if the right dewatering liner product was sourced at a very competitive price point, and a guaranteed stocked supply was available with a short lead-time to delivery that they could stand out in the bidding and contract performance process.

Solution: Working with our product solutions team for a short evaluation phase, the industrial specialty contractor tested a range of high quality dewatering fabrics on-site. They selected a Non-Woven Polypropylene, 3.5 oz Cloth Filtration Fabric for use in a 20/30 cu/yd roll off steel container box fitted with dewatering screens piping and external valves.

Working jointly, pricing solutions were agreed to, meeting the requirements of all parties involved. Stocking agreements were reached and the total package was inline with all parties expectations.

Result: The contractor was awarded the contract and it has now been in force for 3 years. Time from new order placement to delivery is a very satisfactory 2 working days and the end user customer is fully satisfied with all aspects of the dewatering project.
